A big event is happening at The Royal Horseguards Hotel in London tonight, and the staff of Brierley Hill Mecca Bingo in the West Midlands will be rubbing shoulders with the royalty also invited!
They are celebrating helping to raise £500,000 for the Carers Trust, and HRH The Princess Royal will be there to see them do so.

The partnership between Carers Trust and The Rank Group PLc, which owns Mecca Bingo and Grosvenor Casinos, began in February 2014. As a result Mecca Bingo is now known for taking part in a range of activities to raise funds for the charity.

Natalie Holland, general manager of Brierley Hill Mecca Bingo said: “It’s a real honour we are being recognised for the fundraising work we do. I can’t say thank you enough to our team members and kind-hearted customers who have helped support with all our fundraising efforts over the last year.

“There are no words to describe the importance of what these carers do in our community, and it’s an honour to know how much we’ve been able to help make life that little bit easier for them.”

Well done to the staff of Brierley Hill Mecca Bingo on raising such a huge figure and enjoy your evening tonight!
