Five members of staff at the Beacon Bingo in Moulsecoomb, Brighton, have put their best feet forward in order to help raise money for charity.
Phillip Brown, Caroline Barnes, Rachel Ansell, Natasha Upton-Maher and Sophie Rabson walked 20 miles to Shoreham and back – in aid of Charity Chips.
Chips was founded on behalf of the Casino and Gaming industry, and raises funds to provide specialised wheelchairs for children who cannot get around on their own.
Its particular focus is wheelchairs that the NHS can’t or won’t provide, and those that parents can’t afford to buy.
The fundraising walk took the team over 9 hours to finish, and they raised almost £1,500 for the charity.
Well done to those charitable (and energetic!) bingo staff walkers!
