Bongo’s Bingo Launches in Manchester

Tags: , ,

What could be a better way to spend your Tuesday than playing bingo? Manchester is getting geared up for Liverpool’s popular Bongo’s Bingo coming to the city. It kicks off tonight at the Albert Hall and it will be on every week thereafter.

Bongo’s Bingo is like nothing you’ve ever experienced before so if you stay in the Manchester area you might want to go and try it out.

A word of warning, though – you might want to leave your gran at home for this one because scattered in between bouts of traditional bingo there’s also rave rounds, dance-offs and catwalks.

Bongo’s Bingo has been highly successful in Liverpool and it’s come to the points where they’re having to turn away hundreds of people every week because the venue is jam-packed even though they’re now doing two gigs per week. They also hold the record for the largest pub quiz ever and they’re now set to bring all their madness to Manchester.

Organiser Joshua Burke still can’t believe how successful they have been in Liverpool and claims that it’s all down to the amazing host Jonny Bongo who has a natural talent for whipping the crowd into a frenzy and gets them to do all sorts of crazy things. He’s well-known for hosting outrageous pub quizzes so you never know what he might pull out of the bag but one thing’s for sure you’re guaranteed to be in tears of laughter.

Doors open at 7pm and the first game starts at 8pm so make sure you arrive in plenty of time. Tickets cost just £3 a pop which is a real bargain considering the great night of fun and frolics that’s in store for you not to mention the big jackpot prizes that are up for grabs so you’ll definitely want to get your daubers and glow sticks out for this one!
