Ed Miliband Demonstrates His Bingo Lingo in Thorne

Continuing on a campaign trail that saw him cutting a constituent’s lawn a few weeks ago, Doncaster North MP Ed Miliband tried his hand at bingo calling in Moorends.

The former Labour leader showed off his bingo lingo, including “unlucky for some, number 13” and “all on its own, number two”. To the amusement of players, Miliband forgot to read out number 19 in the proper format, earning a chuckle from the bingo players before he corrected his error and moved on.

The official Thorne Labour Twitter account shared the clip online.

Despite the slight gaffe, Miliband’s bingo calling seemed to be a hit with players, with Twitter users complimenting his efforts, and the video has been retweeted over 300 times as of this posting. Abby Tomlinson, founder of the ‘Milifandom’ during the run-up to the 2015 General Election, tweeted that he was a “man of many talents”.
