Now for some insider industry news – Mecca Bingo has given its £4 million advertising account to St Luke’s, after a competitive pitch dealt with by the AAR.
St Luke’s describe themselves as “London’s longest running independent creative agency”. They “help give brands a clear and compelling purpose designed to inspire audiences, stakeholders and the staff who have to deliver its promises.”
Paul Meadows, head of brand at Mecca Bingo, said of the appointment: “We have big ambitions for our multi-channel business, so St Luke’s combination of brand thinking with digital and retail understanding made them a compelling choice.”
St Luke’s chief executive, Neil Henderson, added: “In a world of competitive bingo brands, Mecca stands out for its authenticity and heritage.”
Work on the account will start immediately – St Luke’s are planning a spring 2015 campaign that will see itself spread across TV and digital platforms.
