In what some consider a shock move, Sun Bingo have announced plans to partner up with Playtech Games to provide a suite of new bingo and slot games for players. This deal will see the Gamesys partnership come to an end.
One of the longest running pairings in bingo is about to come to an end, as News UK, owners of Sun Bingo, announced that they have struck a deal with Playtech. This means that at the end of the current run, Gamesys will no longer be paired with the top bingo site, marking the end of a partnership which spanned over 7 years.

Although the deal has been inked, it’s though that the changeover won’t be made until August 2016, which means players can look forward to playing all their usual favourite games for another while longer. It’s thought that behind the scenes, operations will begin sooner to ensure a smooth switchover when the time comes.

What this means for players is that by this time next year, they will have a whole different suite of games to play. Operating on Virtue Fusion instead of Gamesys, not only will players get to enjoy some Playtech slots, they’ll also have a whole new look bingo lobby too.

In addition, it’s expected that players will find new and exciting promotions to take advantage of, making a move from the same offers purported by Gamesys originally. Playtech claim they will offer games which have the biggest bingo jackpots in the industry, and will offer players something fresh and new.

All in all, it’s expected that the change will be good for players, even if it does mean having to get used to a whole new site. The finer details such as user information updates (such as changing your password for the new software) or any additional benefits are yet to be released. Players should expect bigger and better things, with Playtech promising more cutting edge technology to offer Sun Bingo players the best in innovative new games on both mobile and desktop, for an all-round amazing gaming experience.
