The next suit, who we will call Helen Van De Sluiter (not for legal reasons, but because it is her name), suggested a portmanteau of the two words, “Deluxe” and “Casino.” However, in a momentary inversion of synapse firing, she suggested “Casinuxe.” The others nodded in approval and were about to ratify the proposal.
Then the newest suit in the company, a recent graduate in Linguistic Anthropology, suggested that if they really wanted to convey the deluxe-ness of the casino, then they ought to keep it in the name. “How about,” she said with a millennial smirk, “Deluxino.”*
Deluxino was born.
