Why choose our best new casino sites?
This page is a long time coming. As we’ve expanded in the online gambling sphere, we realised we needed to create a listing for the most luxurious and frankly the best new casino sites. I’ve picked out those that have the mightiest bonuses and the highest quality gaming content.
Here, you’re most likely to find well-known bricks and mortar casino brands that have branched out into the iGaming universe. These beautiful sites often capture the glitz and glamour of their city-centre counterparts.
You can head to the Super Group’s Hippodrome Online Casino and experience one of the UK’s grandest casinos without having to schlep to Leicester Square. I have actually been to the Hippodrome, and while it is a good night out (or 24 hours if you’re super keen as it really does never close), I can confirm that the web version accurately translates the vibes to your small screen.
Some of these sites even have a sort of all encompassing loyalty programme; you can become a member of Grosvenor Casino and gain perks on land and online. Some of these sites, like The Vic, also have live dealer casino games that beam out live from within the walls of the land-based version!
Online luxury doesn’t have to be that traditional though. I’ve also highlighted many super modern, super independent new sites that do it differently. At brands like LuckyMate, you can experience all the quality of classic casino games on a slick, newer platform. Midnite, too, is a thoroughly 21st century online casino-plex that is about so much more than just slots.
So what are the best new casino sites out there at this very moment as tested and verified by experts like me?

Standout Features
This is a new section where I’ve pulled out a particular feature from each of my favourite new casinos to showcase why it stands out, and why you might want to play. These are nuggets I tend to pick up by going in and signing up myself and having a play around. Someone’s got to do it for a living!
| Feature Category | New Brand | Harrison’s Key Finding | Why it Beat the Rest |
|---|---|---|---|
| Newest Brand | Bet St George | It doesn’t get any newer, having literally gone live in the past couple of months | “From the BresBet team, we have anticipated its arrival. It’s as good as I imagined!” |
| Most Generous Welcome Offer | Bet St George | For just a £10 deposit, you get 150 wager-free spins! | “I know it’s a bit cheeky that I’ve given it two features, but the offer is just that good!” |
| Lowest Entry Cost | Planet Sport Bet | With a £5 deposit, get started with spins galore | “Out of all Playbook casinos, I can confirm this is the ONLY one to have a £5 deposit offer.” |
| Fastest Payouts | Bet TOM | The fast withdrawal guarantee is true! | “I’ve tested this personally and my experience completely aligns with their guarantee.” |
| Best Free Tournaments | Slots Temple | Best for all types of slot tournaments! | “Frankly no where else compares. The velocity and uptake from players is unrivalled. Enabled by the lack of welcome offer though…” |
| New Offer Glow-up | 7bet | Players love this brand again thanks to the new spins offer! | “After the January 2026 bonus changes, 7bet took the challenge seriously and went from rags to riches.” |
| Best Games Selection | Megaways Casino | Almost 8,000 slots & games! | “This is the new Home of MEGAWAYS slots. I believe it might be the brand with the most slots in the UK!” |
Deep Dive
I just wanted to add a few of my notes to some of the top featured new casino brands we’ve got up right now, and how I’ve reached these assessments.
Fitzdares Casino, nestled nicely in our list, is the pinnacle of luxury and exactly the sort of site you’d expect to find in our new casinos section. It is the online version of a storied London telephone betting company. I’ve had personal experience with the customer service team trying to sort out a query, and they’re genuinely as gentlemanly as you would hope.
The site, which recently launched its online casino, is a perfect blend of old world class and modern innovation. The welcome bonus, for example, is thoroughly forward thinking. It’s a members club where you too could become a member. It’s inclusive and exclusive – what a blend!
In this list, you’ll find a mix of classic casinos and those of a new generation. BresBet is a brilliant example of the latter. They offer an exciting No Wagering Free Spins offer and access to their novel loyalty area.
As befits a casino, they also have plenty of table games including Blackjack, Roulette, and live game show games.
Our favourite casino with a new licence is Bet St George, as demonstrated by the fact that is has rocketed to the top of our listing. This sleek new site opened its doors to our users on April 2026. The brand’s independent new licence has turned a great site into an iconic one, and will tide us all over nicely until 2027.
What’s the difference between a Casino and a Slots site?
To be honest, some of it is in the name. If a site calls itself a casino, then it probably is one. If a site ends in the term “slots,” then slots are probably the focus.
However, there are some grey areas. Obviously a casino pretty much always has slots. And slots sites often have casino games. Sometimes it’s just a feeling I get from the theme and design when I’m testing it out. Slots are often more simple and playful, whereas a casino might be grander and more luxurious.
A casino is more likely, for example, to have a full live dealer platform. These are usually provided and integrated by Evolution Gaming, NetEnt, or Extreme Live Gaming.
However, it is fair to say this is changing now too. As we continue forth in 2026, many slots and even bingo-focused sites have full live dealer platforms. For example, many Jumpman Gaming sites now have live casino thanks to the integration with Pragmatic Play.
In addition, a casino may have tens of table and card games. A slot site will often only have a handful of casino games. It’s probably not enough to sustain a casino player, if they’re the only games they want to play.
I would recommend checking out our New Slot Sites page if slots are solely your playing focus!
What are the downsides & disadvantages to new casino sites?
Some of this is subjective and often it is just about finding the right casino for the right player at any given time. But in my experience, there are a few overarching issues that I think you should be wary of.
- Risk of Closing – A new site may be fresh and exciting, but if it is a bit of start-up then it may not take much to put it out of business. Frankly, new casinos can pop-up and disappear just as quickly. The rewards of a new site can be great, but there is a bit of risk sometimes, especially if your funds aren’t protected.
- They can lack infrastructure – Counterintuitively, players who are new to gambling may be better served by going to an older, established gambling brand. There is likely to be better customer support and there might be more money to spend on retention and ongoing promotions. Whereas, it is more experienced players who are likely to get more out of a new casino.
- Fewer payment methods – Excuse the generalisation, but I find that new casinos, especially on new licences, often just accept debit cards. Obviously that’s fine for most players, but some more experienced cats prefer the protection and security of e-wallets.
New Casino Sites UK Trends in 2026

As I’ve discussed, we’re seeing quite an evolution in the online casino space. Hopefully, you’ve found exactly what you’re looking for in these listings and we’ve provided a good explanation as to what’s here.
To help widen your horizons, I want to look forward and give you some pointers as to what’s already here, and what’s coming down the track for new online casinos in 2026, 2027 and beyond!
Casinos with Brand New UKGC Licences
We’ve seen a bit of a race in recent times to launch casino sites with new and unique licences. While there will always be a place for the great white label platforms, we can see that our players desire independent sites with a brand-new, UK Gambling Commission approved licence.
The Playbook platform casinos like BresBet, Gentleman Jim, Dragonbet and PricedUp all continue to have great success with such a formulation. Even though they run off the same technology, they all have personalised licences, which make them extra appealing to our diehard casino fans.
The most exciting and most fresh of these is Bet St George, which is our best performing brand by far right now, as the newest.
We expect this to be the biggest trend for operators in 2026 who are looking to launch the next big online casino over the coming year.
More types of gambling websites
Whether they are bingo or slot sites, more are carrying table games and live dealer casinos. These used to be reserved for the types of sites we’re showcasing here, but this is truly expanding. That means I will constantly be monitoring this page and new types of sites could become classed as tip top quality new casino sites.
Online casinos and sports betting
These are becoming more of a compatible match as players’ habits evolve. Many new sites, including a plurality of Progress Play casinos, are now launching brands that have both, in easily navigable tabs. One of our top performing brands on this page is Tote, a perfect example of the sports and casino blend. It will become more normal to have gambling sites as both online casino and sportsbook brands. To celebrate this, we’ve launched a page called New Gambling Sites which features many of these great combo brands.
Match Bonuses will continue to get smaller
Percentage matches will decrease, as regulation and taxation continues to evolve in line with government policy and public opinion. This is not something to lament especially, as it means we’re also seeing the demise (hopefully) of massive and unfair wagering requirements.
This, by the way, is now confirmed after a consultation with the gambling industry. The UKGC’s changes to welcome bonuses took effect from 19th January 2026. Mixed product offers will end and more notably, 10x wagering requirements are the new maximum!
Many brands are adapting and creating more unusual and creative welcome offers. Take BestOdds, one of our sexy new brands. The days of 600% casino bonuses are over. But we’ll continue to point players to the best of today’s welcome offers and our new casino sites page is a great place to start, as we have the best bonuses, the most unique licences, and genuinely the newest sites around (as recently verified by a kind user on the r/Gambling subreddit)!
New Casino Sites FAQs
The honest answer is we’re not entirely sure right now. The increase in Remote Gaming Duty will take place in April 2026. It is practically a 100% increase which will make it very difficult for some operators to work in the UK.
We are likely to see some brands leave the regulated UK market. We expect some of these to be of lower quality. But some great brands may up and leave too.
Unfortunately, the customer experience may get worse at some sites. Promotions may get less generous and the return to player on some games may be lowered.
However, we do expect the best sites to be able to separate themselves and still provide a great product for players.
Yes, and soon too! In January 2026, some changes came into force, such as no mixed product offers and a maximum of 10x wagering requirements.
On a page like this, where you see dozens of the best new casino brands, you’re not likely to see huge changes. That’s because great brands often already have fair bonuses.
Some of the brands on this page don’t even have welcome bonuses they’re that good! Like Betwright, for example.
No need to add the really, we’ll always tell you it straight with our 13+ years of industry experience. We know what’s up!
Currently, our recommendation, which is born out in our listings, is the ideal new casino site operates on the Playbook platform, but has a completely unique UKGC licence. So look out for brands like BestOdds, Bresbet and London.bet.
