About Bucky Bingo
Bucky Bingo has been on a journey! Beginning life as a bingo hall in the 1970s, the Bucky brand has returned in 2025 as a Dragonfish bingo site.
Dragonfish brands have been increasingly consolidated under Broadway’s ownership (read: disappearing), so we’re grateful that Bucky has made the cut and been welcomed back into the fold!
Bucky’s history in the modern, online era doesn’t begin with Dragonfish (when we said a journey, we really meant it). For many years it was a Playtech bingo site, or Virtue Fusion if that’s the parlance you are more familiar with. It was snapped up by British betting legends Betfred, and it was run in parallel to Betfred Bingo as the funky but slightly less popular sibling.
About half a decade ago, while still under Betfred’s watchful eye, the brand transitioned from Playtech to Dragonfish, and continued to be a decent hit with players. It was only after Dragonfish’s sale to Broadway that the brand was put into what seemed like indefinite retirement (as part of the “consolidation”). We’d even deleted our previous historical review, which really shows we didn’t think we’d get it back…
Cut to 2025, when we were thrilled to get the phone call that Bucky Bingo was back, and we were to be one of the first comparison sites to be allowed to review and offer it up to our players! TLDR; it’s still great!
Theme & User Experience
The pink and purple colour scheme remains the same, as well as a badge of honour on the homepage which declares they won Best Dragonfish Bingo site in 2021. We won’t tell you who bestowed them that award as they are a sworn rival company!
What is missing is the old hint of barnyard that you used to get! Bucky for some years was a sort of jolly Moose with sunglasses, but in this day and age that flies a little too close to mascots that may appeal to young people in the advertising regulations. As cool as that image no doubt seems in your head, it’s not particularly missed.
Bonus & Promotions
The welcome bonus is a tale of two halves. The bingo bonus, although not the biggest match at 200%, does allow for a big bonus if you deposit a good first whack. For example, if you deposit £50, you can have a crack at £100 in bingo bonus! And that comes with just a 2x wagering requirement. Not too shabby!
What’s slightly less competitive are the 20 tacked on free spins. A nice perk, but any winnings become games bonus which you then have to wager 30x.
As long as your a bona fide bingo player first and foremost, this is definitely a welcome offer worth plumbing for. But if you’re a free spins guy or gal, then there are much better offers flying around with much fewer wagering requirements.

Bucky Bingo takes scratchies surprisingly seriously! Invented in the 1970’s (coincidentally when Bucky was born), scratch cards have become something of a national past time. Check out games like Foxin Wins and Diamond Strike to see if you can hit it big!
Final Thoughts
Bucky Bingo has returned to WDW Bingo. We were certainly surprised at first to hear it was coming back, we’d even deleted our old review! But we couldn’t be more pleased to list this Dragonfish site once again.
It’s a safe and sturdy base to launch your bingo adventure. While the slot game and scratch card selection is pretty good, this is really more a bingo lover site. The bingo aspect of the welcome offer is better and there are some great bingo rooms to play at. Welcome back, Bucky!
