About Redbus Bingo
Redbus Bingo is a classic Dragonfish slots and bingo site that we’re bringing back to you as a retro treat! It’s been years since we’ve featured Redbus but trust us, it used to go down a storm with players.
The site has had a bit of a design overhaul, bringing the classic British Red Bus mascot more to life, while maintaining an old-school Dragonfish charm.
So where has this site been all these years? Is it just like real buses when you have to wait ages before a slew of them come along at once?
Before Dragonfish was bought out by Broadway in 2022, they were in the hands of 888 and more specifically, Redbus was part of the Joy of Bingo universe, like 888ladies.
When 888 ceded all their Dragonfish sites, Redbus Bingo was one of quite a few that went on ice for a long time. Even though the brand was never shuttered (which happened to dozens of similar sites), we were given no latitude to work with them.
Well, now Broadway have given us and the Red Bus the green light and anyone who knows the rules of the road knows that green means go! Beep!
Theme & User Experience
In prior incarnations, the themes of Red Bus and its sister sites were rather cartoony. For a variety of reasons (including regulation and compliance), these sites have had a design upgrade. Potentially, with a little help from Al, though for legal reasons you may notice we’ve said “Al” as in short for Alan or “You can call me Al.”
Now the homepage features a rather more idyllic scene from the British countryside, as a lovingly rendered, but retro, double decker bus zooms through the fields of a fancy looking park. There also appears to be a outdoor art exhibition of giant bingo ball sculptures, which is just very convenient!
It all looks a bit uncanny, but compared to the recently relaunched Posh Bingo, it looks positively 21st century!
Bonus & Promotions
Unfortunately, one aspect that hasn’t returned is a nice and juicy bingo bonus. Players won’t be left chewing on scraps, but the “RED100” match games bonus is not inspiring awe.
Don’t be fooled by the special code either, a few sister sites are offering the exact same welcome offer but with a slightly rejigged code for each site. Again, not inspiring. But not a bad way to get into what’s otherwise a lovely, quite nostalgic bingo site.
As you’d expect with any Dragonfish site, there’s a shared rewards scheme and your activity across all the sites will contribute to your reward status. There are also various ongoing promotions that you can find under the “Offers” section in the lobby once you’re logged in. Not exactly rocket science.
Bingo Rooms
Redbus Bingo does have a few Dragonfish network bingo rooms so despite the welcome offer, we’re happy to say that for all intents and purposes, this is a proper new bingo site addition!
There are 90 ball and 75 ball rooms, as well as Bingo Deal, a cards-inspired 52 Ball game. You’ll recognise standard Dragonfish games like Top of the Shop as well as Easy Peasy, the 5 line, 75 ball game. Mystery Jackpot, another Dragonfish classic, only lets you know the pool once ticket sales have been counted and verified!
Games Available
Full disclosure; disregard this site now if you’re a table game or live casino person! It is not for you. This is for bingo lovers and slot admirers, with a few scratch card and slingo games thrown in for absolute good measure. There are over 500 slot titles, perhaps nearing 600 in total, which is pretty good. We’ve recently gone live with sites that have fewer (cough, Casino of Dreams, cough – actually also in the Broadway stable).
These include some of the world’s biggest slots like the Big Bass titles. It’s a solid place to play, especially if you’re spending time in the bingo rooms as well.
Final Thoughts
We’re very pleased to have Redbus Bingo back on our books after a long hiatus. We have a bit of nostalgia for the good old bingo days, which this site was very much a part of. Sure, the welcome bonus is games only and there are no live casino games whatsoever. But the bingo is good, the slots are good and the brand looks like a delightful slice of ten years ago!
