The new Heart Bingo: What you need to know
Heart Bingo is back! After a Summer transition, Heart has returned under new management and on a different platform. However, it’s not been as simple as just flicking a switch. All these moving parts may have left some of our players confused. Here, we answer your questions about the rejuvenated Heart Bingo.
When did Heart Bingo relaunch?
Overnight on 23rd September, Heart Bingo became something of a new bingo site. Previously on a different platform, Heart Bingo returned as a Pragmatic Play bingo site under the ownership of the BetVictor Group. It has new bingo rooms, including new exclusive games. The welcome offer changed a lot too but you will see some overlap in the slots games.
Why did it relaunch?
The rights to the Heart Radio brand had changed hands as the previous operator’s deal with Global Media expired and a new deal was struck with BetVictor. The new owners had only recently entered the bingo market by introducing a bingo section to their flagship brand. With that knowledge and experience gained, Heart Bingo was to be BetVictor’s first big launch in the vertical.
What if I was a player on the old Heart Bingo?
Players on the previous site were notified by the prior operator about the switch. As it was changing hands and platforms completely, these prior players would not automatically be transferred to the new site. It was, for all intents and purposes, a completely new bingo site just with some recognisable branding.
However, the previous operator didn’t sit on their laurels. They launched a brand-new and very successful site of their own called Double Bubble Bingo, based on their own in-house game. All the previous Heart Bingo players who wanted to be were transferred to this new site.
If you are an old Heart Bingo player and want to play at the new Heart Bingo, you’ll have to sign up again. But that’s not necessarily a bad thing. You’ll get the absolutely fantastic welcome bonus which boats no wagering bingo tickets and no wagering free spins.
What was hbingo?
hbingo, which we listed for about a month on WDW Bingo, was a precursor site by BetVictor. It was set-up so that Heart Bingo could be swiftly and efficiently be transferred onto it. If you want to continue playing on your old account, head to Double Bubble Bingo, a new bingo site, and log in with your old Heart Bingo details. Your account will have been transferred over to this new site.
If you want to play at the new Heart Bingo, you’ll have to sign up again as it’s now on a different platform, run by a new company.
