Pragmatic Play Bingo is Closing: What happens next?
This is a Public Service Announcement for players who have signed up to Pragmatic Play Bingo Sites in the past and are unsure of what the future holds: we will update this page as and when we know what is happening to the bingo at these sites.
This is what we know so far…
The time has finally come. As of August 2026, Pragmatic Play has shut down its bingo product (as well as Sportsbook platform) in order to focus on its bread and butter, slots and live casino.
As the final promotions and jackpots wind down, and the welcome offers are put out to pasture, we thought it was good and proper to give a thorough run down of what we know is happening to these brands and their bingo, so players can plan for the future. For some, frankly, we have very little information, so we will be updating this article as we know more.
A brief roundup of how we got here
The announcement came as quite a shock earlier this year, as Pragmatic Play’s bingo had been such a breath of fresh air when it launched back in 2019. It revitalised Grace Media and Jumpman Gaming’s platforms and the business scored some absolutely huge coups in securing deals with Heart Bingo and Bet365.
For a few years they had something of a monopoly over the online bingo landscape, especially as prior titans like Microgaming and Dragonfish either fizzled out, or had troubles of their own.
Then, something changed. Playtech/Virtue Fusion, known for their high quality product across a small and select group of brands like Betfred and Sun Bingo, created a plugin version of their bingo.
After inking a deal with Progress Play casinos, all of a sudden the number of Playtech bingo sites rose exponentially. Pragmatic Play finally had some competition!
Fast forward to 2026 and Pragmatic Play decided to pull the plug on the bingo. It’s a shame, of course, but we understand why they’d want to focus on franchises like Big Bass Bonanza, a truly incredible success story.
For those who have an account at a Pragmatic Play bingo site, or who are just looking for somewhere new to sign-up, here’s a round-up of what’s happening next, based on what we know so far.
What’s happening to each Pragmatic Play Bingo Site?
Jumpman Gaming Sites: Wait & See
Jumpman (think Deal or No Deal or Mirror Bingo) signed one of the biggest and earliest deals with Pragmatic Play to replace their own bingo product over half a decade ago. Right now, we don’t know exactly what’s happening but the parent company is negotiating and finalising a change of bingo product. This is likely to occur during September at the earliest so there will probably be a period of no bingo. The welcome offers should not be affected as they are spins offers.
Grace Media Sites: Mostly Relaunching as Progress Play with Playtech Bingo
Grace Media is frankly a busted flush. We don’t really believe they have much of a future anyway. However, the brands you should care about (such as Panda Bingo) have simply reopened as Progress Play casinos and therefore have Playtech’s brilliant bingo product!
Broadway Bingo Sites: Adding Dragonfish bingo rooms
Broadway sites (such as Glossy Bingo or Bingo Diamond) used to be Microgaming but moved to Pragmatic Play. Then, Broadway, of course, bought Dragonfish and started to add Dragonfish bingo rooms to those sites. We expect that the Pragmatic rooms will disappear and the Dragonfish rooms will be there to carry the torch.
Bingo Britain: Seamlessly transitioning to something better!
Bingo Britain, the most recent and exciting independent bingo site launch, had started on Pragmatic Play bingo. They’ve already announced to their players that they will be transitioning to a new product, and there will be a little bingo downtime. However, they encouraged players to enjoy the final jackpots on Pragmatic and be safe in the knowledge that something better was on the way. We may have to take their welcome offer down for a bit, while we wait for the new bingo to bed in.
The Sad Section: Independent Sites giving up on bingo for the moment!
While Bingo Britain have been the gold standard for the great bingo transition, some independent sites have not been so forward thinking. Many were caught quite flatfooted and have decided to drop bingo entirely for the moment, maybe for good. This the sad and growing list of sites that have canned bingo due to the withdrawal:
- Lottogo
- Lottoland
- PricedUp
- Planet Sport Bet
- LeoVegas
- Bet365 (A real shocker…)
The “Watch This Space” Section
Many Skill-on-Net casinos had Pragmatic Play bingo, but a transition to Playtech Bingo started with PlayOJO (the flagship brand) and has continued with a few others like Zingo Bingo. Though not confirmed, we expect to see more of those Skill-on-Net sites simply join the train that’s already in motion. Likewise, the former Dazzletag sites (now Solaya) like Bingostars had already transitioned to Playtech.
Bingo Plus, another great independent British bingo site, only added Pragmatic Play recently to supplement it’s world class live caller bingo rooms. For the meantime, we expect them to just continue doing what they do best from their studios in Hull.
