About Highbet
Now, I don’t mean to nit-pick as there is plenty to like about the relatively new casino and sports betting site Highbet, but why did they choose that name!
It sounds to me like the snooty high society logged in there on a Saturday afternoon to sip drinks and have a bet on the horses. In reality most of us are sitting on the sofa in joggers placing £2 accumulators on the football. However, I’m not too sure if “low bet” or “medium bet” has the same ring to it…
Names aside, Highbet has come a long way, launched in 2021 it was part of Aspire Global network. At the beginning of 2025 they switched platforms and are now operated by SCGO Limited who also have Vbet on their books.
Alongside Highbet’s sportsbook, which includes a betting in-play area, is a cutting-edge casino which supplies a vast library of over 1500 games, delivered by some of the best games providers in the business (25+ in fact).
These include Pragmatic Play, Stake Logic and NetEnt to name a few. Something which is also not in short supply is the choice of promotions on offer, including taking on brand ambassador David Haye (The Hayemaker) at Fantasy Premier League football. Highbet has their own league there where you can win a signed glove each month alongside other prizes.
So Highbet is aiming, well….. high. But do they clear the high jump or do they clip the bar trying, let’s take a closer look.
Design & User Experience
The first thing I noticed when entering their lobby area is how pleasant looking the platform is. It does have a friendly but professional feel to it. Navy blue in appearance, it uses lighter blue and yellow headers to break it up a bit. The logo, along with this platform in general, is not too flashy but serves its purpose with everything organised accordingly.
The landing page does a great job of showcasing all that is on offer at Highbet. With all aspects obtainable here, including promotions and responsible gaming via quick links running across the top on desktop, and a sliding bar available on mobile. Access to all things account related can be found through the icon shaped like a chess piece.
Once you get your head around the layout, navigating your way around is pretty simple. However, it may be a little fiddly sports wise on mobile.
If sports betting is your thing. head towards the 3 lines and select pre-match on mobile or use the bar in the centre of the page via desktop. The casino lobby is well categorised with a basic search function and a providers category, with game tiles of good size arranged very neat and orderly; this part of their site has an uncluttered feel. A great feature is the added ability to save your favourites by highlighting the heart in the game tile. There is an app available, but Highbet runs slickly and smoothly on a mobile browser for those of you who like their play on the go.
Sportsbook
Highbet separates horse racing and in-play action from all other sports, which is a handy feature. Firstly, all odds are decimalised. However, you can change this by going to the settings in the betslip.
The layout is far superior on desktop with it all being a little cramped on a mobile device, but still functional all the same. Every sport you can think of, alongside some E-sports markets, are available; these include quite a few niche markets like WWE, if you enjoy American wrestling, and Kabaddi (what is that?)
It delivers a straightforward user-friendly sports betting experience and doesn’t over complicate it all too much, which is a joy to see. Their football offering is delivered extremely well alongside a bet builder function available in the major leagues.
Other features include boosted odds and trader trebles which offer some extra value. Where Highbet stands out is they provide a variety of sports promotions. These include a horse racing rewards club, boosted ACCA bets depending on the number of selections, ACCA insurance and early payout on football if your backed team lead by 2 goals any time within the game. Just keep an eye on the T&Cs.
If you would like more information about these bets, I’ve written a full explanation in my Premier League Football Betting Guide.
Lastly, if you like Virtual sports games, there is a slightly hidden section within the casino.
Slots & Games Available
There is definitely more here than meets the eye, with almost 2000 games delivered from some of the industry’s popular providers. It is organised well.
There are too many sections to name them all, but some included are:
- Popular
- Fishing Games
- Fruitilicious
- Megaways
- New – this section really stands out, with the games updated impressively regularly.
There is also a UK top 10, which is home to Rich Wilde and the Book of Dead next to Big Bass Splash. The provider category, which I mentioned earlier, does make finding your favourite games (if you know what you’re looking for) very simple to navigate too. If you want to try something new, and like a certain style of game from a smaller provider, the option is yours. Progressive Jackpot games have their own well stocked area too, with Age of the God titles at home there.
Alongside the numerous slot titles available, is a good variety of live casino options within its own dedicated area. Variants of Roulette, Blackjack and Baccarat are available next door to 3 Card Poker and Texas Holdem poker. Games are delivered by Evolution, Pragmatic Play and Creedroomz.
Also available is the ever popular studio game show area which is well stocked with 20+ games including Crazy Time, Sweet Bonanza Candyland and Monopoly Big Baller, for all the bingo lovers out there. The choice is even greater when going into these providers’ own lobby areas which opens up even more choices.
Other games include a small disconnected crash game and instant win scratch section, a video table section, a bingo themed area (no live games unfortunately) and numerous Slingo titles via the search function.
Bonus & Promotions
Highbet has an excellent welcome offer, which is a WDW exclusive. If you deposit and wager through £20 on any slot game you will receive 75 free spins on Big Bass Splash. The best part is the free spins are wager free. You can receive this great offer by clicking or tapping on the link above.
Ongoing promotions at the time of writing do tend to lead towards the sports side. However, you can earn 60 free spins (which are again wager free) by playing the game of the week and if you are unfortunate to not get lucky at the casino, all slot losses between Monday and Thursday receive 10% cashback weekly at the weekends.
Highbet also sends out account specific promotions. If you would like to acquire them, make sure you tick the box to receive marketing information by email on sign-up, or change your option within your account settings.
Payment Methods & Security
The sign up process is simple, user-friendly and only takes a couple of minutes at most. You will receive a welcome email along with a verification email.
There are also options to set deposit limits, how you receive messages from Highbet, and reality checks within your account area.
Just be mindful that at the time of writing, you can only deposit via either a debit card, Apple Pay, Skrill or Neteller. Highbet will try and verify your account when you sign up. However, you could be asked to verify by uploading the necessary documents within their document area which is in your account settings. Being required to provide ID and proof of address is completely normal and nothing to worry about.
Final Thoughts
Highbet makes it over the bar….. only just though. They aim high but land neatly in the middle. It runs smoothly, is easy to navigate and the platform looks great. The sportsbook on mobile is a little awkward but workable with the casino side first-rate. With some good ongoing promotions available, it is well worth a look, and who knows you could be sky-high with delight!
