Velvet & Booty Bingo now on Dragonfish
Over the past couple of years, online bingo players have lost the opportunity to play on over 50 Cozy bingo sites after the platform was sold to GVC. The last 20 or so of these brands shut up shop in Summer 2020, as GVC pivoted to its well known brand sites like Foxy, Cheeky & Coral Bingo.
However, some of these former Cozy brands have been snapped up by GVC mega rivals, the Rank Group, who intend to re-launch them as Dragonfish bingo sites.
United, a division of Rank, that is well-known for running sites on the Netboost network like So Bingo, Polo Bingo and Moon Bingo, have already migrated two of the former Cozy brands.
Velvet Bingo was the first to make the move, with Booty Bingo following shortly after. It is rumoured that Mummies Bingo is another one in their stable which could see a re-release soon.
What do the two re-branded sites look like?
Both Velvet and Booty have received a makeover that will be very familiar to those who have played on Netboost bingo sites before. Eschewing cartoony themes and mascots, both make use of real human models in fancy dress on their homepages.
Velvet Bingo embodies a seductive and playful 20th Century cabaret theme while Booty Bingo doubles down on its pirate and treasure themes. The colour schemes are luscious and full with real depth, and look nothing like the quite brightly coloured, disposable Cozy skins that they used to have.
These brands benefit from an expanded bingo room selection, such as the exclusive Even Stevens bingo game. Perhaps more importantly though, these sites have vastly improved slot game selections. Both have access to over 600 slots from a variety of excellent software developers and designers including in-house designed 888 jackpot games.
