About Betsuna
Betsuna is a new Progress Play Bingo, Casino and Sports betting site from the team behind JeffBet. Launched in 2026, this is one of the first big gambling site launches this year on the UK market. This is in large part because of industry changes, including new bonus rules and a new tax regime.
We know players look to us as an authority on all things casino, and one question we’ve been asked is “What does Betsuna mean?”
Well… our initial analysis has determined that the first syllable “Bet” probably comes from the word “Bet,” which is definitely something you’re going to want to do at this site!
Joking aside, we’re not 100% sure what the “suna” brings to the table. Theories include that it’s the Japanese word for “sand,” perhaps evoking some sort of betting paradise or even more abstract, evoking the “shifting sands of luck” when it comes to gambling. Now, did you expect us to get that deep?
Ok, now our loyal players are probably screaming at their mobile screens, telling us to get on with the actual review. I’m just so happy to be reviewing a brand new site again after a bit of a dry spell this year.
How we rated this brand
- Offer Quality – 4/5 – The thing that brings this score up to a four is the different choices of welcome offers players get. Our favourite is the bingo offer, which is why we’re featuring that most prominently (although we should point out that some Progress Play bingo sites have stronger welcome offers, like Queen’s Bingo). There’s also a casino bonus and a sports offer too if you’re into that. The wagering requirements on the casino offer are not quite as competitive as the bingo offer.
- Game Choice – 4.5/5 – Betsuna have racked up a 4.5 here due to the sheer selection of games. I estimated that there are over 2,500 games which span slots, casino and crucially, live casino including game show games.
- Payment Methods – 4/5 – The selection of authorised deposit methods is strong, better in fact than many independent casinos, as they include some e-wallets like Paysafecard, and bank transfer proxy services like Trustly. A point is docked for not allowing Skrill and Neteller depositors to take the welcome bonus.
- Navigation – 4/5 – As with all Progress Play casinos, there are two interfaces; the bespoke landing pages (ie. the attractive shop front) and then the actual Progress Play platform when you sign in. We know players find this is little frustrating, as do I! But overall, this platform has greatly improved over the years, especially on mobile.
- Customer Support – 4/5 – Customer support is ok! The email address is the generic Progress Play support service, so it’s therefore pretty well manned. There’s a live chat service, which you can access by clicking the bubble that appears on your screen when you are signed in (and only when you are signed in!)
Design & User Experience
The design is pretty standard Progress Play betting site, if I’m honest. There’s not an awful lot to add here! When you sign up, it’s worth noting that you’ll likely have to verify your account by receiving a text message code on your mobile. Therefore, I’d recommend that you keep your phone close!
We also mention this quite often, but there’s a fairly hard ceiling of 5 different welcome offers that you can take across Progress Play sites. You can sign up to as many as you want, but you can only take a welcome offer on the first five! Hopefully, that nugget of information will save you some frustration; we’ve had a few peeved customers come to us with this problem in the past.
Bonus & Promotions
There’s a suite of three different welcome offers across casino, bingo and sports. As I’ve said, we featuring the bingo offer most prominently as it’s most likely to resonate with you guys, but feel free to choose another. The bingo bonus is a good match with competitive wagering requirements.
Beyond the welcome offers, the ongoing casino promotions look really promising at Betsuna. Examples include the Wheel of Spins, which at the time of writing my review, there’s both a midweek version and the classic weekend one! There is also the Mystery Box, Money Rush and the Rewards store, where you can redeem your hard earned points!
Games Available
With over 2,500 games, Betsuna has a really strong selection sourced from developers like Pragmatic Play, Games Global (the artist formerly known as Microgaming), NetEnt, Playtech and Play’n Go. Evolution also provide a backbone of live casino games, including Gameshows like Mega Ball, Crazy Pachinko and Stock Market.
Going beyond the classics, the site also has Crash and Casual games, which are tapping (excuse the pun) into new and different types of games that are becoming popular on mobile.
Bingo Product
The high quality bingo product comes courtesy of Playtech, from a deal that was inked between the two companies a few years back. I’ve tested out the Playtech bingo many times and Betsuna has all of the following perks:
- Everything from 50-ball to 90-ball bingo rooms
- Absolute classic games like Fluffy Favourites and Deal or No Deal Bingo
- Live chat and community which is hosted by Playtech
- A monthly extravaganza with a 6 figure prize pot!
Final Thoughts
Betsuna, for all the reasons I’ve laid out, is a really solid 4 out of 5 rated new bingo and casino site. The Playtech bingo is great as usual, and there’s a really large library of slot games. I wish the welcome offers could be a little bit better, even by Progress Play standards, but all in all we’re pretty excited about Betsuna as a new 2026 release.
